COVID-19

To our valued patients:

We are happy to inform you that our clinic will reopen for routine appointments when Allegheny County goes to the “Yellow Phase” on Friday, May 15th, 2020. We ask that you please:

* Come into the waiting area unaccompanied when possible
* Wear a face mask when you enter the clinic as per CDC guidelines.
* For new patients, or patients who have not been seen in the past 3 years, please have your patient forms filled out prior to arrival. They can be printed from this web address https://www.threeriversdermpgh.com/patients.html.

Note: In order to avoid overcrowding the waiting area, some patients may be asked to remain in their cars until it is time for their appointment.

Additional Frequently Asked Questions
Previously Scheduled: If you were previously scheduled for an appointment after May 15th, we are still saving that date and time for you, but if you do not feel comfortable coming to the office yet, we would be happy to reschedule you.

Virtual Appointments: We will continue to offer virtual appointments, where you can interact with your provider via a HIPAA compliant live video chat as a safe and effective alternative to coming to the office for some of our more basic conditions (ex: acne). Our front desk staff can decide which option is the best for you.

Our Precautions: We will continue to take extra precautions to ensure that our patients remain safe and healthy during their visit to our clinic. Our team will continue to wear safety glasses and face masks and refrain from shaking hands with patients. These precautions reduce the risk of virus transmission and allow us to provide you with the care that you need.

Your Precautions: If you or a household contact is experiencing a cough, fever, or other cold or flu-like symptoms, or if you were exposed to someone who is suspected to be positive for the coronavirus, please call us to reschedule your appointment. Many of our patients have compromised immune systems or take medications which suppress their immune systems, and it is for their safety that we ask patients who may be sick to stay home and not risk exposing those who may be more susceptible to disease.

We hope everyone is safe, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
